Who is Heather Mari?

Heather Mari is an improviser, actor, writer, content creator & dancer from Baltimore, MD. Her credits include: Big Deborah (iO Theater), Fire & Beer (The Annoyance), Cast Party (The Annoyance), Fright: An Improvised Horror Movie (High Stakes Productions), Improvised DCOM (Malarkey Comedy), This or That (Malarkey Comedy), IT’S A BAO DAMN TIME! (The Second City Victor Wong Fellowship), Ordinary Sheeple (SCTC), Spring Backward (SCTC), The Greatest Sketch Show in America (BIG Improv), Half-Scripted (BIG Improv), and Improvised Clue (BIG Improv).

Heather is the co-creator of the comedic TV pilot, Grinding, which is currently in post-production. She is also a Saul Zaentz Film Fellow at Johns Hopkins University and a Kenneth Manthey Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship recipient at The Annoyance. In addition, Heather is a graduate of the iO Theater, The Second City Conservatory & Grad Revue, The Second City Writing Program, The Groundlings Theatre Core Track & Improv Lab, and the BIG Improv Conservatory Program.

As a content creator, Heather’s comedic sketches have amassed millions of views and tens of thousands of followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. She also helps brands connect with their core audiences through the creation of digital content. To date, she’s written, performed, and produced for a multitude of brands including Pepsi, Dunkin Donuts, BeatStar, Raid Shadow Legends, Videoleap, and more.

When Heather is not creating, she’s spending time with her loved ones like her cute Pomeranian pups, Princess Boop and Foxy Cleopatra, experimenting with makeup, or scheming ways to adopt another pup!
